Goûter c'est vivre

Every day and every time I go to the grocery store with anyone from my host family I'm asked, "What haven't you tasted? Do you know this cheese? How do you feel about a pâté tonight?" It's fun, because it means trying new things almost every day and discovering flavors completely foreign to me. This week it was roquefort and brioche. Both of which I've had before, but they were better here. Not just because I'm eating them in France. That helps, yeah, but along with tasting everything they show me how to "properly" eat it. My host mom bought soo much brioche, so that's been my primary breakfast of choice. And the cheese plate at dinner always gets quite interesting for my sake.
