Jul & Aftonjuldag

Julmust- Swedish Christmas soda
We've been having a jette bro time here in Sverige. For Christmas Eve dinner Thea made Swedish meatballs from scratch. They were so tasty! And we drank lots of julmust- which is this funny Christmas soda. For Christmas morning we had stockings, that were wool socks stuffed with random things we found around the room and cookie treats. And then we did presents before kanelbulle.

Thea and Al brought branches in to be our "tree" in the corner. The presents went on the Christmas shelf. Then Thea made us homemade kanelbulle!

And since Christmas, we've been sledding almost every day and walking around in the snow. We walked to the viking mounds in Gamla Uppsala and sledded down those. They were huge! And it had been raining all day so we were going entirely too fast down the slick hills.

And today we all went walking over to another viking mound closer to Flogsta, where Thea lives. It was beautiful and the sun was out making the snow sparkle.
