Les Printemps

It might officially be Spring, but you wouldn't know yet in Grenoble. Flowers of every color are decorating the front of the florists' shops though. I found these orange tulips in my room on Tuesday. A nice colorful surprise from my host mom.

I spent this last week raving about Rome, catching up on sleep, and sniffling while refusing to admit that I may be getting sick. Yesterday we all went to the Grottes de Charanche- beautiful mountain caverns full of thousands of stalactites and stalagmites. And last night I went to a friend's house for her birthday dinner. It was a great time, especially when it started turning into "let's teach the American all the terribly vulgar words we can think of." Just expanding my vocabulary.
