Final Days

Enjoying the sunrise on the walk to my station
Today is one of my very last days living here in Paris. I have to be moved out of my apartment on Saturday and then on Sunday I fly up to Sweden for Christmas break. I'm excited for Christmas and can't wait to be up there, but this week has been a bit difficult. Saying goodbye to friends, places, professors, and this entire city has mostly taken up my week. That and finishing off my classes. As of yesterday, after my afternoon class, I'm officially done with elective 'culture' classes and only have one more French language class tomorrow morning.
Watercolors!
I of course took my lunch time break to start working on Christmas presents: paintings. And in my final class, which was my cinema course we watched the 80s movie Subway. We didn't have the time to finish it in class, so I'm going to find it on my own. But it was a really cool film that turns Paris into two worlds: the upper bourgeois on the surface and the people below the ground in the depths of the métro. I just thought it was interesting and worth sharing, and it made my ride home on the métro a little more interesting.
