When in Doubt, Choose Art.

Rue des Psychopaths
Thursday is my free day. No class, plenty of time to sleep in, and an entire day open for whatever I can think up. This week I chose the Louvre...again. On my walk there, appropriately enough, I happened upon some street art.

I have an exam in my art history course on Monday, so this wasn't just a few hours of aimless art viewing, but a bit of a study overview. Of course, the second I had finished with my study prep I made my way to the French, and then the Greek and Roman, sculpture to get my fill of mind blowing masterpieces.

My visit was worth dealing with the crowds when I looked out the window and found this. If you look in the distance you can see all the way to the Arc de Triomphe.

After the Louvre, I headed to 'crêpes and a movie' at my program's center and enjoyed some free food and a funny movie. And Friday, after a long day of classes, I went over to the Fondation des États-Unis (the dorm where most of my friends live) to make breakfast for dinner. Everyone was there and we had the best time eating pancakes and bacon, drinking wine, and laughing all night.
