Saint Chapelle

Last night I went to a classical Vivaldi concert at the Saint Chapelle. It's less well known than the big churches like Notre Dame and Sacré-Coeur, but rivals them in beauty and detail. The chapel is very small, but every surface is decorated and it's famous for its stained glass windows.

We arrived just as the sun was setting, so the light slowly left the chapel as the music started. It was a fantastic hour of familiar and new music, beautifully played by a group of seven. It was so relaxing to slip into the music while the rain hit the windows and let the sounds take over for a while.

The music.
