A disorganized but good representation of my night. |
Three friends of mine came over to my little apartment for dinner...and wine of course. We ate
lots of bread, sausage and cheese. And for dinner, I attempted to make pasta. It was quite difficult given the size of my pots and the space in which to work. Since I have only the one chair, we had to eat dinner on my bed. It was comfortable though. But everyone was well fed, and more than a little amused by my apartment. The general sentiment was that it was so ridiculously, amazingly French, that it didn't matter how small it was. They even got to see my Eiffel Tower reflection sparkle once or twice. It was just a really great evening with good friends and good wine.
After coffee and sweets, we decided to walk down to the Eiffel Tower and ended up meeting with some friends. We drank (more) coffee on the banks of the Seine and talked for a few hours. Then they kindly walked me home and headed off to their dorms in South Paris.
Now I'm sitting in my dark room, letting the big moon light everything. It's a perfectly clear night, and only a little crisp. Perfect for leaning out my window and taking in the city.
