I apologize for not actually posting frequently. It's been a crazy last few days and I've barely been by myself or even in my apartment (and when I am it's in deep slumber). So, let's recap the last 4 days? I don't even know anymore. My apartment is the smallest thing you've ever seen, I've been calling it half a shoebox. But it's my own place in Paris, so I've stopped caring. You can half see in the pictures my almost combination kitchnette/closet. I personally don't think it deserves to be called a kitchenette though. It's a hot plate, a fridge, and a microwave oven.
I have a bathroom, but it's down and across the hall. For it's size it's surprisingly comfortable. We've been having lots of orientations, but as of yesterday they're over. As a group we have done so many tours and sightseeing. There was a boat tour on the Seine, a walking tour of Montmartre, a visit to the Musée D'Orsay, and today we're going to the Louvre. One of many visits for me.

From our boat tour, I don't think this monument needs any explaining. |

Pont Neuf, my favorite. Look at all those faces! |

Lunch yesterday wasn't so shabby. This is Luxembourg Gardens, less than 5 minutes from my school. |

Since there isn't actually a picture of me in front of anything, I chose the first to be the rhinoceros. |

Last night we ended up in the Champs de Mars, with a not too shabby view. |
That's all for now. Once I get into a schedule of some sort, then maybe I'll get a handle on this thing. Right now, I'm just trying to say yes to everything and have the time of my life in Paris.
